    • Livestock: Due to the delicate nature of aquatic life, we do not accept returns or exchanges on live fish, corals, invertebrates, or plants. However, we stand behind the health and quality of our livestock, and in the rare event of an issue, please contact us within 24 hours of purchase, providing clear photographs and a detailed description of the problem. We will do our best to address the issue and find a suitable resolution.

    • Non-Livestock: Unopened and unused non-livestock items may be eligible for return or exchange within 14 days of purchase. Please ensure that all original packaging and labels are intact. Proof of purchase is required for all returns and exchanges.

  2. Health and Quarantine:

    • At Fishtail Aquatics, we prioritize the health and well-being of our aquatic inhabitants. All livestock undergo a thorough quarantine and observation period before being made available for sale. However, it is important to note that introducing new aquatic life to an existing ecosystem carries a certain level of risk. We recommend following proper quarantine procedures and acclimation techniques to minimize potential health risks to your existing aquatic inhabitants.

  3. Care and Compatibility:

    • It is essential to research and understand the care requirements and compatibility of any aquatic life before making a purchase. Our knowledgeable staff is available to provide guidance and answer any questions you may have. However, it remains the responsibility of the customer to ensure compatibility and proper care for the animals and plants they choose.

  4. Water Testing and Conditions:

    • Water quality plays a crucial role in the health of your aquatic environment. We strongly recommend regular testing of water parameters such as temperature, pH, ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate levels. Our staff can assist you in selecting appropriate testing kits and provide guidance on maintaining optimal water conditions.

  5. Pricing and Availability:

    • While we strive to ensure accurate pricing and availability information, errors may occasionally occur. Fishtail Aquatics reserves the right to correct any pricing or availability errors and to limit quantities of any item purchased.

  6. Online Sales and Shipping:
